Welcome to Cutting Heads

After several months of scouring the internet in search of guitar resources to help myself to become a better guitarist, I can honestly tell you that there is a ton of information available out there.


You can find web page upon web page dedicated to anything and everything that relates to guitar playing. You can find an endless assortment of guitar tabs to help you learn almost any song you could possibly imagine. There are yuotube videos by the score of people giving lessons or even just playing for the sake of playing. You can find gear reviews and pages dedicated to what the pros are using. The list of information available is endless.

So then why am I bothering with yet another sight dedicated to learning how to play your guitar? I mean really, If all of this information is just sitting out there in cyberspace for anyone to stumble across why should I bother with this site?

The first reason is for purely selfish reasons. I want to create a central repository of all of the information that I feel has been, is, or can be beneficial in my own journey with my guitar.

The second reason has to do with the fact that the technology now exists where I can more easily share my information with others. If I'm able to post information the is helpful or beneficial to both myself and other people at the same time then why wouldn't I share with others? I love sharing knowledge and information and will hopefully learn from others who come to this site seeking some answers.
